A month ago
i used to be able to see/meet bei everytime aft my flight
on my off days and such
but now
i touch down not looking forward to anything
cos bei is not there to pick me up
or even to meet me the next day for a date

we dont even have time for a decent dinner
shift work and irregular work timing dont match
AT ALL

now i eat alone
sleep alone
and shop alone

i miss the old days
but this is life
the sacrifice we have to make to feed ourself and the future
as we grow older

but nevertheless
we still maanged to squeeze a little bit of time
for meaningful things like bei's birthday
and catching the latest movie in the theatres

these little bouts of time we have
are really precious now

sometimes i wish time would stop
and let me immerse in the moment before i realise that
it is already gone
and thinking abt it only makes u look back and say
"if only..."
"if only..."
"if only..."

my 21st would be coming in less than a week's time
and i'll be spending it alone at Maldives
bei is not wokring on tt day so he's gonna
spend it alone too

but im looking 4ward to this sat
cos bei's gonna have a early celebration with me

my 5th night in dubai

worst flight ever cos im really sick

had been having a bad stomach

nothing goes in but theres always sth coming out

cant really eat these few days

i had just lost 3 kg cos of this

a stunningly 40kg now

and operating flights had been a nightmare

dizzy spells and kept feeling nauseous

dunno whats happening

i really miss going back home

cant even walk for long now

right now, i am having the urge to throw up

even drinking water doesnt help

cos i just feel like throwing up whenever i tried to eat or drink

i called bei ytd and cried while i complained to him abt it

its really unbearable

im in a foreign country with no friends or family

around to care for me when im so sick

i just wish SQ could terminate me

so i dont have to pay the bond

why the fuck in the 1st place did i go for the interview

my blog is so damm borring nowadays

just came back from a 8 days
dubai - istanbul flight
dubai is a really nice city
with lots of tall and modern buildings
and their shopping malls are like superb
have skiing and underwater world in the mall
damm big i tell you
will get lost in the mall w/o a map lo

istanbul is really nice too
very beautiful city
love all the ancient buildings there
but cant really adjust to the food

too much herbs and spices used!
no photos for now because the lights are off
and i dunno wanna disturb bei sleeping
i cant upload in the dark you see

just saw my flight schedule for the next mth
dubai - istanbul again!!

and i will be having seoul for the 3rd time

but i'll be going san francisco at the end of june

just came back from taipei ytd night

my 1st flight
crews are nice
i got to sit in the cockpit when the plane took off
the view was splendid! =)
didnt really wen to alot of places because of time constraint
i only had a night there so the senior crews took us to Shilin night market
its just like Bugis street in sg
=)

tml night will be flying to Melbourne
hope it will be a smooth flight

Bei is back!!
FINALLY!

went to the airport with his bro-in-law
at 4am on fri to pick him up
tired lo~
but damn excited too haha

bought a bag for bei as a welcome-home gift lol
he has been eyeing that bag for like so long la
but didnt buy cos its really expensive
$225~
glad tt he's happy
even though ke kept grumbling tt im spending too much
=p

made this for him

The stenciling abit CMI
but at least i tried lol
i really sucks at arts and craft

niways, reached his home at round 5 after picking him up
slept for a few hours then woke up to go for a
interview at SIA training centre
yup, am trying for an air stewardess position
reached there at ard 10
and shortly after, a grp of 8 of us were called in
for the 1st round of interview
(there are a total of 4 rounds)
we went into a room where we were asked
to sit in a row in front of 2 interviewers
and the question was " Each of you tell me what customer service is all about"
omg man i tot it would be some self intro thing
totally not prepared for it but well, blabbered something

and after like 10 mins, we were outside the room waiting for the results
managed to get through to the 2nd round

This time its Kebaya fitting and checking of skin condition and teeth
they dont really stand close to you to check your skin
nor will they ask you to open your mouth to examine your teeth
they do it through observation by talking to you
then they ask you to walk up and down to see your posture
this is the easiest round because you dont have to do any talking lol

got through to the 3rd round and this is the scariest
its a 1 to 1 interview
and they throw you all sorts of qn la~
my interviewer gave me this scenario
"You are on a flight and a passenger demands for a window seat,
but the flight is already full. How would you handle this?"
OMG i seriously dunno how to answer man

again, i blabbered something which i cant rmber now if you ask me
but i know she kept rebutting me saying things like
'what ifs..you know you cant...bla bla"
and after like 10 to 15 mins
i was outside the room again waiting for the results
i tot i was gonna flunk this round
but was damn ecstatic when the lady announced
i got through phew~
but still had to go for a forth interview
wish me luck

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY BEI!

I made a tiramisu cake for bei
but was quite a failure lol

after which, we went to have dinner at this jap rest. @ wheeklock

went to catch the fireworks aft that

insured against death, illness and permanent disability

bei says for what i buy these insurance
but i think its appropriate to buy it
who knows what will happen in the next 20 years
somehow i feel that i might not be in a very good health
contemplating to go for a full body check up

but im scared of needles

Fri was the 2nd time i blackout on the bus to work

first, you will feel listless
then you start to see patches of yellowishness

then you cant hear properly

followed by short of breath

and then you start to have cold sweat
and the worse thing is, nobody is there to help
there were no seats so i just slump down at the steps of the exit
even at that point of time
nobody is willing to offer you any seats
and so, i jus sat, rest and slump there till i reached the airport

got better by the time i reached

so continued to work

but was super dazed throughout the day

i think i should go for a check up

This month got like damn alot of birthday babies
Firstly, its evan birthday on the 070708
we went sentosa, whee~
cos this bdae gal spent a whopping $220 on a bikini
of cos have to make full use of it la!
let it see the sunlight as much as possible lols

during our time there
saw these 2 china guys playing with each other
disgusting and funny at the same time
they took turns to dive into the water, play in the water
then took turns to take pics with each other
then took turns to bury each other in the sand
omg~
mayb its in their culture? but definately not in ours haha

end the day by going for Songs of the sea
its really nice!
greatly encouraged by us to go watch =D

Then on the 10th, celebrated Joanne's birthday =)

hope to have more of these gatherings =)

then over the weekends, we celebrated our 1st anniversary

it was dinner at marina south pier

very nice ambience there, over looking the sea

when the sun was setting

it was national day's preview that day, so we saw alot of planes
but sadly, we missed the fireworks =(

they have very strong sea breeze there
therefore explaining the flying hair =s

first ever experience in Gold Class!!

the seats are so confortable!
even if you sit there for 10hrs you wont get butt pain haha
but its a freaking 30 bucks for each person

A very big thanks to MG staffs
for the very touching and funny ppt slides
it really wasnt expected
seeing it through really reminds me
of the past memories at MG, be it good or bad =)
(but mostly are good ones, guess the bad 1s are when yuuki is ard haha)

how we tried to play hide and seek in the storeroom
how we always sneak out in the morning to have breakfast

how we tried to squeeze into those tiny weeny clothes
how we manage to sleep in the most weird places
how we paiseh ourselves in front of customers
and lastly,
how much we tried to impersonate gia gia~
haha! thats the most fun and funniest part

and again, it dawned on me that i wouldnt be
part of it anymore
working full time now really makes me
realise how wonderful it is to be able to study
you would have all the time in the world to do
whatever you want and at your own pace

there's practically nth to worry or stress abt

there are times when i tot of giving up
and returning to MG to work
where its always a happy place with no signs
of stress hanging in the air

but even though, i know that its not a place i would
stay for long (despite how much i would like to)

because i would be letting myself down

if i took it as a full time job
so thats the reason why i took up a full time job

with an entirely diff work scope

as i had said, everybody has to get out of
their comfort zone at some point of time
for MG staffs, im sure your would leave MG at some time
and venture into some new environment
where you have to start adapting to it all over again

it might be hard
but i think as long as you have a positive attitude
things will get better and easier as time goes by
=)

hx, go continue to persue your studies k
be it retail or your hobby
you're still so young
but now that you're made some kind of manager in MG
its a diff case, i would support you working in MG!!
(all those above dont apply to u already haha)
for the rest, all the best in the continuation of studies in uni!

Bei's grandma passed away on Thurs
she's 94 already
and its a peaceful death
so bei and familly had been rather occupied
with the funeral and all

Fri at work was a rather hectic 1
but heaved a sign of relief when everything

will be under a new manager now
which means, i might not be doing events anymore

but glad that im still doing facilities

lOooooOng time since i update
was so busy with work
when i say im busy with work
it doesnt mean i bring back my work from the airport to do at home
no, im not a workaholic (for the time being)
im just so busy with going to the airport in the morning
and off to MG in the evening
yes, was running between 2 jobs for the month of april
it was so damn tiring
but now, no more MG anymore
no more frequent meetings of the samseng family
no more bookworm club
no more ah siao to disturb
haiz...
but life's like that
you have to adjust yourself into a new environment when its time
the time where you know you have to think for your future
you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone

work is fine
some projs are already in execution
im sure i will experience some sense of achievement
when i see the fruit of my labour
=)

and yes, 30th night was out clubbing with my girlies
phuture queue was damn long (as usual )
so we cabbed to st james
its was fangyi's (evan's friend) birthday
bei was there too with yf and zf
they too went to phuture but like what i said
its impossible to get in
so sad our usual clubbing bimbo elisa was not there with us
=(
but zilin was there!!
so so so damn nice and happy to see her
it has been decades since i last saw her
she's still the same old her =)

clubbing that day was so tiring
imagine, waking up at 6 in the morning
staying till 4 or 5 am in the club dancing and drinking
then supper/breakfast, whichever way you wanna define it
walk for super long from tiong bahru to outram
trying to get a taxi but in vain
gave up and took a super long bus ride home
reached home at only about 8 plus in the morning
bath and off to sleep
one word, tired-ness~
bei left the club earlier than i with the guys
and so by the time i reached home
he was sound asleep
i called him like 27486749 times but never succeeded in waking him up
but it was still FUN with the good company
=)

saw this very sweet choco at airport

and i bought it for bei
its a fucking 9 bucks
but worth it since it doubles as a card
and the choco is nice
i think im gonna get the whole collection of it
hehe

i have a sweet tooth
and these are what kept me awake in the office when im feeling sleepy

sitting in the office most times, i know, will make me fat
butttttt, i couldnt care more now

and when im bored, i turn into some1 my colleagues hadn't known me of yet

an obsessed cam-whorer
i will slowly let them discover the other side of me

everything went pretty well
colleagues were nice
and the environment was good
i think i will enjoy working there =)

for this year across all terminals

and the other 1 will be the setting up

went to pick her up from the airport just now
with family and bei
she bought lots of nice food back

this time back to pasir laba camp
as a vehicle commander
not sure what it does but he told me
its something like givings directions to the driver

I've got a job!!

at Singapore Changi Airport
as the position of an Event Coordinator Officer
=)

was over at vivo tangs shopping when suddenly ireceived a call from them
my heart was like beating so fast when the caller said
"we had an outcome for the interview yesterday"
me: " err yar?"
caller: "we decided to confirm you"
inside me, i was like "wheeee!!"
i was so darn happy you know
i thought that they were going to tell me that i wouldnt get the job
so i can quit waiting haha

i thought i would lose it cos i think i did badly at the interview
like, the things that im supposed to say i didnt say
and the things that i dont have to say i said so much
i just keep blabbing on and on, those redundant stuffs
but my oh my, how lucky that they still gave me a chance to work there
=)

you know, interview just sucks
the feeling of you sitting at the huge reception area by yourself
ppl looking at you as they walk by
the feeling of uncertainty u had
tons of questions would flood ur mind
"who are the ppl inside?"
"will they be friendly?"
"how many are there"
"what questions will they ask?"
"would i be able to impres them and get the job?"
this feeling really sucks
you're in the office building but then you do not belong there
just like you're hanging in mid air

and minutes later after CAAS called me
SP Powergrid called me
the interview that i went for last week
so qiao la! they had a week to call me but they didnt
then they told me that they had decided to give me the post of executive assistant
i told her that i've got a job already but she ask maybe if i wanna reconsider it
adding on that she already had approval to call me last week but didnt have the time till now
even thought the benefits of SP seems a little bit better than CAAS
but i feel that the nature of the job outweighs the benefits
At caas, i would be able to learn more stuffs and had more exposure
rather than just having a deskbound job and stare at the com all day
so, i've decided on CAAS =)

from what the lady told me
i guess i'll be starting my job in a month's time
and this means, i'll be leaving mother garden for good
this is so saddening
i've been there ever since vivo starts
it has been over a year now
really cant bear to leave it
cant bear the many friends i've made there
the many memories that we've created
its so sad, really, i could cry
but this is reality
i'll have to leave there

its just a matter of time

but whatever it is huixuan
i promise i wont forget u all
i promise i will visit mother garden whenever im free
we can still have mg outings as always
i still have a month's time over there

prom was at Grand Copthorne Waterfront - Grand Ballroom

the school gave free complementary pass to zouk for a month
but zouk didnt interest me so went off to phuture with elisa, evan and ckx
the rest of the grp headed off to zouk
yf and yiming were there too

at the bar
ckx ordered 24 shooters called 'nothing'
i think he's mad
72 bucks just like that
but its nice =)

after 2 pops and a series of shooters

after 2 pops, a series of shooters, a flaming lambo, a bourbon coke and a whiskey dry

in a semi-conscious state
then when over to zouk to find the rest
tats when i almost got risked being thrown out by the bouncer

had some kind of arguement with a taxi uncle a few days back
i told him to go to yishun ave 6
but he didnt make a turn at some point which is supposed to be the way home
so i told him politely, " err, its supposed to turn there "
then he said, " you said avenue 6 so i go here, that way is yishun ring road "
i dont know why at that point i felt really offended
i had always used that way when going home
so i replied, " my address states that i live in ave 6 "
then bei said, " why u so rude? "
i remained quiet
but that taxi uncle keeps blabbling on and on about its not his fault
he went that way cos i said ave 6 and bla bla bla
i told him my IC told me that i live in yishun ave 6
he continued mumbling something like i know your ic says u live in avenue 6 bla bla bla
thats whan i couldnt contain it anymore raised my voice at him

asking him to shut up and should just keep quiet when i told him politely that he should make a turn there
at this point, bei couldnt stand the both of us and raised his voice to shut both of us off
i stopped shouting but that uncle just keeps mumbling
repeating the same old things
he only stopped when bei shouted "enough!" at him
but thats not the end
when i was abt to get off
he started his mumbling again
i said, "ok, can you just stop it? "
got off his cab and walked home with bei
im not angry, just pissed~

went to the School of Make-Up Seminar a few days ago with my cousin
Peter Angel Wanneck is really funny
the way he introduces abt the make-up just makes me wanna learn it more
and if you sign up on the seminar day itself
u will get a free $300 worth of products
which will be useful in the course of learning
of course this deal was tempting
but i guess i really need to think it over
$5000 is not a small sum
and i dont wanna use my parents money
cos i dont want unnecessary pressure on myself
the pressure that i would have to make a career out of it
im still very unsure of whether i would be a successful freelance make up artist
it it not easy, just like setting up your own business
the make-up industry is so satuated now
and everybody is trying to make a name for themselves
not just only me
it is not an easy path to take
i know if i wanted to be successful in order to earn a stable income
for my future family
i would have to work very hard
because that piece of cert doesnt mean anything
it is the experience that counts
and of course i have another alternative to take
that is to take up an office job and lead a stable income life
but thats not what i really want
i wanted to make something out of my life
like an achievement or what, a fulfiling life
getting an office job will just be like running a routine everyday
i want to do something for people
make them the prettiest on their biggest day
=)

and so, im looking for a full time job now
something that matches my qualifications
earn the money, save it and pay for the course fees myself
1 way to earn big bucks in a short time is to be an air stewardess
which has been my dream job since sec school
but i just cant bear the thought of leaving bei alone in sg on his book out days
and i dont want to be elsewhere when he is out of camp
so air stewardess is out
sent quite a few resumes and application letters out
hope to get a reply soon =)

tomorrow is prom night!
so looking forward to it!
got my secondary school friend to stand in for bei
after prom will be phuture-ing cos the hotel is just beside it

he's having some kind of orientation thing in his new camp
had already paid for him so now had to find replacement
hope raymond's friend will be able to make it

today was like totally sian for me

watch tv alone
surf the net alone
i slept for like 3/4 of the day i think
and i just finished 3 packets of kinder bueno

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

today wasnt a very smooth day for me
was supposed to meet my lecturer at 1130 at hand up final proj
but ended up reaching there at 12 plus -_-"
my alarm didnt went off cos stupid me set it to 9pm
when i was supposed to wake up at 9am
"dumb"- this is what bei would say

reached school and realised that mr roger wasnt in his room at all
then when i wanted to fill up my evaluation forms i reliased i dont have pens with me
went to print out my stuff at 4th level labs and realised that the colour printer is not working
so went to biz lab but halfway while printing the printer got jammed
went to tell the librarian but she did nothing abt it i was so pissed off
i stormed right past her, out of the lib and back to level 4 lab again
no choice, had to print it out black and white
cleaner tried to chase me out of the lab cos she just mopped the floor
but i told her i had booked this com and need to finish my proj by today
needed earser to rub off sth then realised again i had no stationary with me
damm pissed at myself~
a task that requires just an hour or so took me so long to finish
i spent close to 3 hours in school just to print out a fucking report
and finally when i've done that
i realised that the binding shop was not opened -_-"
this means that i still cant hand up the report
how great~
and to add on to my fustrations
my too big tube that was bought online keeps slipping down
i had to keep pulling it up
IT WAS DAMN IRRITATING!
luckily i worn an extra tube inside

reached home at around 430
and finished up the last bit of yakuza moon
changed and went off to work
but the suayness didnt end just yet
the train from dhoby to harbourfront got delayed
a 9 mins train ride turned into a 25 mins 1
was extremely late cos of it
this sums up my super un-smooth day

catching a movie with misty and evan later in celebration of valentine's day =)
cant wait to meet up with evan

CNY 2008 was great!
was so busy throughout!!

1st day went over to my relatives house
my mum's side

and the worst thing was my stocking cum tights tore

i could have gone to bei's house straight aft that

that was my 1st time wearing it and it tore just like that

reached bei's house only at ard 9pm
slack abit and then off to supper with his family at sembawang
i finished up a big plate of mee goreng and bei's dad was quite amazed by it lol

had my first paper today
okok la~
wasnt very satisfied with it though
think i could do better if i can write faster haha
but anyway its over, so heck~

today's journey to school was torturous
the moment i was on the bus
i started to feel nauseous
but i would sometimes experience this kind of feeling
when i didnt eat or drink anything
so i thought i would get better in a while or so

but things start to get worse when i was on the train
i simply couldnt sit still
keep having the nauseous feeling and had abit of breathing difficulty
i had to grasp slightly for air
on the transfer train to dover
things got even worse

i could feel myself feeling faint
and couldnt really see whats in front of me
i know whats happening; i might get a blackout anytime
i knew it cos i always experience this when i was still in NCC
the kind of feeling u get before u realli blackout
i was really scared at that time
i wouldnt wanna faint on the train and miss my paper
so i kept moving myself as much as i could
to get the blood flowing to my brain
( u had a blackout cos blood circulation is not that good )

finally the train reached dover and how relieved can i get
relieved that i was able to step out staying conscious
upon seeing my friends at the exam venue
i immediately ask for water
and most importantly, sweets
but all thay had were mints, sugar-free mints
good grief, i need SUGAR
luckily, precious esther was there to save my life
she had a chunk of kit kat
woots~ wasnt i happy to see that? haha
took a huge bite and tada~
ready for exam

think might be due to the fact that
i havent been sleeping or eating well lately
1 meal a day
can have up to 12 hours of sleep but often
accompanied by nightmares
kept dreaming of being chased
and running down flights of winding staircase

the last day is free and easy for them

its the 14th of jan
bei's in taiwan for 2 days already
and he has fallen sick over there -_-"
guess the weather is too cold for him

today is our 6th month~

a simple thing i made for him =)

on the day of departure
his family and good friends were there to send him off
anne zf and yf werent expected and of cos bei was surprised to see them
i was the only 1 who knew they were coming haha
good friends they are =)

under the circumstances it is impossible not to cry
cos the scene was so heart-warming
teared even though it was agreed beforehand that i would not cry
kim's mom teared too hee

but i knew he would be well taken care of over there
so i think i should not worry that much =)

1 day before his trip was jack's birthday
so went to celebrate for him at vivo's bosses restaurant
the food there was fabulous
and the tea was great
quite rare that i enjoyed drinking real brewed tea haha

on the day of depareture
me and bei had jap food! =)

my watermelon juice, his blackcurrent juice
tako yaki, agedashi tofu and 5 plates of sushi
the sushi are only at 99cents per plate

hotate butter yaki
my fav!
but guess not anymore cos it was too salty~

ok, this will be a very random post
everything here is very random lol

was a short weekend spent with squarebrain =(

booked out on sat night and straight away went to
his friend's 21st bdae at woodlands

after that went to eat with yf, zf and jack at bukit timah
yf drove so, yeah! haha
stayed till ard 1+ 2 then went home

bath and slept zZzz

was so tired cos of final proj presentation in the morning
had to wake up at 615am~
but so glad that finally its over

but luck is so not with us

some negotiation and we cabbed to st james
elisa is there with her friend already

not as bad as we expected
the music was good
but the alcohol sucks
the pops and shots can really make me puke

Its 2.18am in the morning and suddenly i had a gush of emotions to write all these down, to be made known to the world that i am (hoped to be) the happiest girl on earth.

I have a complete and nice family. A mom who would flip through ccokbooks to come up with new dishes to fill our stomachs (almost) everyday. Dad who worked 7 days a week to make sure we had at least bread to eat(of course we eat much more better than just bread). Elder sis who would sometimes whipped up a dish or 2 for me when i complained im hungry and when she's in a i-feel-like-cooking mood. Grandma who would often sneaked chocos into my bag when i go visit her cos she knows what an addict i am to them.

Social life is great too. There's clubbing khakis, shopping queenies and kings, gossiping club, cam-whoring bitches (i meant it in a nice way) and when exams are near, random study groups pop up. No wonder i enjoy going to school as much as any of the activities mentioned above. People around me are nice people so that makes me nice too~ You can never get tired of them.

I do feel abit queasy talking about this but yes i have to. Not totally i have to but part of me actually wants to. Its my love life (i feel awkward at the word love). I think that i have the need to let the people around me know how this relationship is going (even though in those tear-jerking love dramas they always say u dont have to ans to anyone when u're in love), like whether its going the right way bla bla bla. I need to do this because i know there are friends out there who are concerned over this. Im very glad to have friends like this, it shows that they care =). If anyone ever discover, im actually not very comfortable with expressing myself verbally, especially when it comes to sensitive issues. So this is the reason why i dont really talk to friends into detail about my relationship thingy. People tend to have the misconception that im giving out too much. But no, its a two way thing. =)

Ok back to the topic.

It has been around 3 months plus now. It may seemed short but quite abit of things happened. Wonderful things and sad things, with wonderful things being the majority of it. I am happiest when i am with him. His laughter never fails to brighten me up.

i showered him with gifts, but what he gave me were intangible, far more precious than what i had given him. It is the amount of feelings, the amount of effort he puts into this relationship to make the best out of it. If 'feelings' and 'effort' can be measured in terms of dollars and cents, i think i would be quite rich by now. [ if u feel gross, u can navigate away from this page immediately =p ]

Quarrels are inevitable. But we both believe that a bit of quarrel here and there aid as stepping stones to a longer and stronger relationship. Ours is not perfect so please do not be shocked if one fine day u see me blogging about what an asshole he is =x oOps jus kidding heheh

To be short, its just great =D I'm being handled with care haha! =p
So friends, please dont be worried. Even though i'm much into fairytales, i know whats right whats wrong ;) But still, i would need ur to continue to guide me along the way =)

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY TO ME =)
the day was spent watching rented dvd with bb
and then sending him off to camp
GO GO SOLDIER! PROTECT OUR COUNTRY!
haha crap~

and then, its celebration with the mates on 03/09

caught the movie "Hairspray"
its also damn nice i tell u
they were singing all the way and i love musicals *wink
and ya, Zac Efron is cute
all the girls in the theatre went "aHhh~" when he appeared on screen
and misty was there grumbling when he kissed that plump girl in the movie haha

after the movie, was the long march from orchard to bugis

we had our dinner at miss clarity cafe
the food was not bad~
very filling ok
and my mates got me a cake *surprise*

i love the cake
it look and taste nice *yum*

for a singing competition organised by our school's CADC
